Financial Analyst
Asset, Investment, Risk & Compliance Data
Financial Analyst with expertise in analyzing and integrating asset, investment, risk & compliance, and transaction data with a deep understanding of financial data systems and workflows, leveraging their experience with systems like GL platforms (peoplesoft, Workday etc.) and asset management tools (Citi and Aladdin) to deliver actionable insights and improve data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze and integrate data across asset, investment, risk & compliance, and transaction domains to provide comprehensive insights.
Work with financial data systems, including general ledger (GL) systems and asset data management platforms.
Analyze existing financial models against regulatory requirements and changes to identify data gaps and formulate strategy to full fill the requirements.
Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and reports for asset and investment performance tracking, risk assessment, and compliance monitoring.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, validate

Monitor and ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all systems and reports.
Conduct trend analysis, identify anomalies, and recommend strategies to optimize asset and investment performance.
Support risk and compliance teams by providing detailed data analysis and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Partner with IT and operations teams to optimize data workflows and integrations between financial data systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
Proven experience in financial analysis with a focus on asset management, investments, risk, and compliance.
Hands-on experience with financial data source systems, including GL systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and asset data management tools (e.g., Citi, Aladdin).
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Understanding of financial instruments, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
Strong communication skills to present findings and collaborate with stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for advanced data analysis.
Knowledge of financial markets, asset classes, and risk management techniques.
Familiarity with data governance and workflow automation tools.
