The Application Developer will design, develop and maintain applications, APIs and ETL processes using Oracle technologies and Informatica Power Center. This role involves collaborating or working independently to create solutions, resolve issues and ensure compliance with security and standards. This role will contribute to the following areas: analysis, application development and design, testing, code review, problem-solving, security compliance, change management coordination and documentation.

Job duties will include:

  • Performs application development using Oracle Apex, PL/SQL.

  • Develops code to consume APIs and creates API end points.

  • Creates/maintains documentation of application technical specifications, deployment processes code repositories, along with training guides according to organization standards and requirements.

  • Responds to routine and non-routine internal and external data requests using relational database technologies.

  • Assists in planning, conducting and attending IT meetings, consultations and committee meetings as needed.

  • Remediates applications for security and standards compliance.

  • Participates in frameworks upgrades.

  • Utilizes business and technical knowledge and experience to identify and analyze needs in order to create solutions to meet diverse and potentially conflicting customer requirements.

  • Works on resolving applications issues or testing challenges.

  • Develops reports, dashboards and other visuals to support management and strategic decision-making.

The position will work individually as well as within a team and communicate with third-party vendors. Position is often required to be accessible via phone when not in the office and have internet access to perform certain work duties from home.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2 years of experience with Oracle Apex, PL/SQL, Informatica Power Center, API integrations

  • 2 years of experience with Jira

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Desired Education/Experience:

  • 2 years of experience with HTML, CSS, CGI, JavaScript programming experience

  • 2 years of experience with SQL and tuning
