Our people make all the difference in our success. This area within Evernorth is a wholesale pharmaceutical distributor that provides customized business solutions and access to specialty drugs to community physicians, specialty pharmacies, and health systems.
As a senior Engineer, you will maintain delivery objectives, timelines, and high standards. You will be supporting SAP S/4 HANA and ensure you work well within the team.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will have strong knowledge in supply chain and distribution management along with an understanding of SAP Finance and Hybris Integration capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Develop tools/processes/standards to help IT teams deliver better solutions – it can involve some sample code development, coaxing of developers, persistence and influencing actions of others.
Ensure that our solutions meet the security and compliance bars we set for ourselves.
Make decisions about in-house developments, purchases, or partnerships on solution level.
Work in close collaboration with other teams, such as strategy, release management, data, infrastructure and governance.
Ensures that solutions align with corporate Enterprise Architecture
Ensures use of industry best practices and standards, setting coding, implementation and landscape standards
Conducts Proof of Concepts in order to assess the maturity of new capabilities, technologies and solutions
Leads the design and development of custom solutions
Ensures that solutions meet the corporate security and compliance requirements
Engages in building business cases, starting with the value proposition including ROI and TCO calculations
Engages in feasibility analysis, high-level solution design and vendor/solution selection
Supports technical teams in troubleshooting and analyzing issues
Establishes and instils a culture of RCAs
Sets departmental goals and supports teams in achieving those goals
Mentor team members by providing KT sessions, code reviews, training
Required skills
10+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with ABAP
Hands on experience with the latest ABAP stack in S/4 - CDS views and AMDPs and has basic knowledge of Fiori
Comfortable with SAP modules like SD, Hybris and FI.
Preferred skills
Hands-on experience with Integration Suite or its predecessors
Experience in pharma industry
Education
College degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
