Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Works in project teams as subject matter expert to design and develop program methods to consolidate and analyze structured and unstructured, diverse "big data" sources
Performs ad-hoc statistical and data-mining analysis , using statistical tools like R, SAS and MATlab; input and design of data acquisition systems, data structure and database design.
Interfaces with internal customers for requirements analysis and compiles data for scheduled or special reports and analysis, create visualization and dashboards using Tableau
Works in project teams to develop analytical models, algorithms and automated processes, applying SQL understanding and PHP or Python programming, to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets.
Supports the timely development of products for manufacturing and process information by applying sophisticated data analytics, understands the business data gathering processes of the business. In the framework of our Smart Factory initiative, we are looking for a data scientist that will help us better utilize the information hidden in vast amounts of data and help us make faster and smarter decisions to deliver even better value to our business Manufacturing operations. Primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our systems. The role will be about understanding the business constraints, applying those to the raw data coming from our SAP and other systems, creating alerts and predictive analysis, and finally creating the right visualization and dashboards for the various user communities.

Skills and Qualifications
Good communication skills
Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar roles
Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL
Good practical experience with data lake like Hadoop
Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, etc.
Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
Good knowledge in deploying AI and/or ML models, and understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithm
