We seek a foundation software engineer to develop highly secure SD-WAN appliances for on-prem and cloud environments.  This is a key software engineering position. The candidate is expected to develop virtual and physical platforms. The candidate will bring up new hardware platforms and develop board support packages/device drivers. Software performance engineering is an essential aspect of the role.

How you’ll make your mark:

You will architect, design, develop, install, configure, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot new/existing hardware/virtual platforms for both on-prem and cloud environments. You will proactively work on improving the quality and performance of Silver Peak’s EdgeConnect product

About you:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills
  • Excellent multicore software development background
  • Expertise in Virtualization and Containerization technologies
  • Strong BSP and device driver development background in the Linux environment
  • Familiarity with the Yocto project
  • You’re experienced with Linux kernel development including kernel patches
  • Experience with Git
  • You have 12-15+ years of experience

USD Annual Salary: $133,500.00 - $307,000.00
