Reaxys is a comprehensive and powerful cloud hosted and deep-tech data searching tool that is used by thousands of chemists, researchers and students throughout the world to retrieve chemistry patents, chemical reactions, substance data and other related chemistry information using a highly performant, bespoke, search engine. Supported by continuous updates and robust taxonomies, Reaxys can be searched using natural language, drawn chemical structures, formula, physical property parameters and more. About the Role
The Reaxys team is on the lookout for a skilled front-end developer with strong expertise of React and front-end tech stack. You will work on features both collaboratively and independently and translate requirements into functional features

Responsibilities:
- Write code and tests to match detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimize components for maximum performance across various web-capable devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve the product.
- Monitor and optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Experience with React.js (v16+), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS.
- Knowledge of front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jest).
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, NPM).
- Strong problem-solving skills, proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
- Experience or training in Chemistry or Chem Informatics is a bonus.
