Job Description

Specific Role Responsibilities

· Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements

· Participate in the architectural design of new software applications and contribute to evolving the architecture of existing applications

· Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following best practices

· Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance

· Implement security and data protection measures

· Support all end-to-end testing activities, including support to functional and business testers

· Analyze and review requirements in close collaboration with the functional analysts.

Experience required

· Holds a degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification

· Has extensive experience in designing and implementing web-based software, ideally in the financial sector (HTML, Javascript)

· Strong experience with Java (8 or later), Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, etc.), and Web-Container (Apache Tomcat)

· Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

· Experience with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB, and data persistence frameworks (e.g. Hibernate)

· Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket)

· Experience with Talend for data integration and ETL processes

· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team

· Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
