Presales Technical Consultant – Cloud Engineering, Migration, and Automation

Are you passionate about shaping innovative cloud solutions and driving digital transformation? Join our Europe GIS Sales & Presales team as a Presales Technical Consultant and collaborate with skilled professionals across the region to help our clients navigate their digital journeys.

About the Role:

As a Presales Technical Consultant, you'll be the "Storyteller," shaping end-to-end solutions that encompass industry and business approaches, implementation methods, technology, processes, and commercial models. You'll play a key role in shaping deals, presenting customized solutions, validating solution fit, and ensuring alignment with client business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Account teams to shape opportunities and build compelling business cases.
  • Support Client Partners and Sales Professionals to strengthen DXC's positioning with key decision-makers.
  • Present DXC Solutions to customers and partners, tailoring insights to their unique needs.
  • Evaluate offering capabilities and assess readiness for activation to deliver proposed solutions.
  • Validate customer business needs against proposed solutions, ensuring alignment.
  • Contribute to opportunity qualification and inform go/no-go decisions.
  • Provide feedback on competitive positioning and contribute to the development of win themes.
  • Understand client business objectives and align DXC solutions with their architectural framework.
  • Apply systematic thinking to solve complex business challenges.
  • Stay informed on technology trends and how they intersect with client needs.
  • Offer technical insights into DXC’s solution themes, providing guidance to new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with Offering Management, offering feedback on service performance and new market demands.
  • Lead and contribute to proposal development, creating technical and commercial presentations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, engaging with all levels of management to position higher-value solutions.
  • Foster knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and participation in professional communities.
  • Deliver outstanding presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.

What We're Looking For:

  • Master’s degree in business, computer science, information technology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in handling large technology accounts and working with solution/product portfolios.
  • Proven track record in leading the development of winning sales solutions and proposals.
  • Accreditation in one or more Public Cloud Services (certifications required).
  • Ability to position and sell Public Cloud Project and Professional Services, as well as Managed Services.

Expertise We Value:

  • Solid understanding of Cloud Engineering, Migration, and Automation.
  • Proficiency in CloudOps, DevSecOps, and CI/CD Pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Platform Engineering and Cloud Management Platforms.
  • Knowledge of Automation techniques and AIOPS ecosystems.
  • Understanding of Agile operational models and product-oriented practices.
  • Insight into FinOps practices in multi-cloud environments.
  • Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud.
  • Strong understanding of datacenter transformation technologies.
  • Relevant Public Cloud and technology certifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of presales experience and technical knowledge in cloud engineering and migration.
