Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Mountain View CA, Austin TX, Detroit MI three times per week, at minimum.

The Commercial Software division at GM is seeking talented individuals across various software engineering roles to join us. Our mission? Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
5+ years experience in successfully designing and building large engineering projects, including successful productionization of highly scalable, reliable and performant systems
Extensive experience in architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Extensive experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, modern JavaScript Libraries and related web technologies
Strong expertise

Experience with at least one of the public cloud providers Azure, AWS, GCP
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile development environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Knowledge of software design patterns, OO, data structures, and algorithms
A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
What Will Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
Strong product focus and acumen
Experience with project management, ensuring on-time team deliverable with high quality
Experience with Python
Understanding and experience with NoSQL and relational DB
Familiarity with one of the JVM languages, Java / Kotlin + SpringBoot
Compensation: The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington.
The salary range for this role is 169,000 to 260,000 USD. The actual base salary a successful candidate will be offered within this range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.
