We are the Integration Connect team, We’re responsible for all the inbound/outbound integrations to other systems across the HR ecosystem. The team ensures the data sync as well as completeness of the transferred information by leveraging modern technologies, robust infrastructure and being data driven in our decisions. As part of the large Workday team, we are working with the core teams to develop deeper integration abilities for the benefit of our customers.
At our Israeli site, we follow a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of talented engineers, taking ownership of the development lifecycle for our data integrations.
Design, implement, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient data integrations.
Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of the integrations platform.
Drive technical excellence, product quality, innovation, and timely delivery in a fast-paced, production-critical environment.
Collaborate with Professional Services and delivery teams to ensure the integration platform aligns with business needs.
Coach and support team members in their professional growth and career development.
Actively assist engineering teams in overcoming technical challenges and roadblocks.
Promote and support best practices across engineering teams, including onboarding and knowledge sharing.
Be hands-on and lead by example.
About You
Leadership Skills
3+ years of experience leading and managing engineering teams.
Proven track record of successfully managing multidisciplinary backend teams and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and stakeholders.
Experience in performance management and employee development, including goal setting, providing feedback, and supporting career growth.
Skilled in conflict resolution, decision-making, and navigating fast-paced environments through data-driven and consensus-based approaches.
Experience working with customer technical teams and third-party vendors.
Technical Skills
5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of technologies such as APIs, cloud infrastructure, databases, and messaging queues.
Solid troubleshooting abilities using logs, metrics, and other observability tools.
A versatile, hands-on manager with a “get-things-done” mindset.
Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals: object-oriented design, functional programming, data structures, multithreading, and distributed systems.
Proven experience in system architecture and software design.
