JOB IS FROM: italents.netVIEWJPL’s Autonomous Systems Division’s Business Administration Section has an exciting business summer internship opportunity for an undergraduate student. This intern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on work experience in the application of business operations, which may include, but will not be limited to: budgeting and financial reporting, data analysis of various operational performance measures, workforce planning and analysis, office and lab space utilization evaluation and ad-hoc data analysis tasks as they arise.
Required Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Management, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or similar disciplines with a graduation date of December 2025 or later
- Minimum GPA 3.0
- Must be available to work full-time for 12 weeks during the summer, primarily on site at JPL.
- Must have familiarity in one or more of the following areas: Business Administration, Business Management, Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Reporting, or Workforce Planning.
- Completed coursework with exposure to standard principles, theories, concepts and techniques in Business Administration and Operations.
- Knowledge and experience with MS Office, especially Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior internship/volunteer experience in related business disciplines.
- Participation in student/volunteer organizations.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with leading small groups or teams.
- Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) knowledge and experience.
The typical hourly rate for this job in Pasadena, California depending on education level is $18.50 as a freshman, $21.50 as a sophomore, $24.50 as a junior, $26.50 as a senior.
