Job Overview:
Finance, Markets and Credit Risk Technology, enables Citi to achieve its day-to-day and long-term growth goals, enabling execution of Citi’s Strategy by providing services, technical solutions, and infrastructure across the bank. These solutions enable Citi to comply with regulatory mandates and empower our businesses to achieve their goals, both current and long-term.
In Finance, Market and Credit Risk Technology (FMCRT) we’re pushing the limits of technology. Our products and initiatives adhere to Citi’s strategic architecture principles and support the end-to-end integration of multiple global functions within the bank including Finance, Risk, and Controllers.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented GenAI Solutions Developers with expertise in Python to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge Generative AI solutions to join our development team. The ideal candidate will work with LLMs, GenAI APIs, and optimizing them for real-world applications.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on development including design, build and maintenance of GenAI solutions primarily developed in Python.
- Develop efficient solution leveraging LLMs and including performance optimization of existing use cases.
- Design and Optimize prompting techniques for improved solution performance.
- Apply RAG methodologies to enhance data retrieval and generation processes.
- Drive the adoption of modern engineering ways of working, including Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD.
- Conduct thorough code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices in readability, performance, and security
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience as Python or Backend Developer.
- Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as Flask, Django, Pandas etc.
- Hands on experience working with LLMs APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Gemini) and integration frameworks such as LangChain.
- Expertise in prompting techniques for AI models with optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of RAG methodologies and their applications.
- Hands on experience with designing DB driven applications and using an ORM such as SQLAlchemy.
- Hands on experience with Kubernetes
- Ability to think strategically and the ability to engage resources outside of their direct control to achieve objectives
- Experience in implementing product lifecycle - design, development, quality, deployment, maintenance
- Creative thinking for identifying new opportunities
Education
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or engineering
