The Opportunity
“We are seeking a Senior Manager to work on development of FICO’s analytic decisioning platform. You will be part of a highly energetic team of software engineers to create the next generation software platform for FICO’s feature management capabilities. What You’ll Contribute
Manage software engineering teams working on feature management and hotlist capabilities of FICO decisioning platform.
Manage product development, own full product development life-cycle, and drive new initiatives for overall product improvement.
Partner with Product managers to understand Jira epics, break them down into stories and transfer the requirements to the team. Create schedule and plan for achieving the product roadmap.
Drive technical discussions, come up with high level technical solution and serve as a source of technical expertise for the team members.

Provide technical advice, mentoring, and strategic direction to team members by having regular one on ones.
Set goals, measure, and reward performance for the direct reports.
Work closely with other functional leaders (product development teams, professional services, Information Technology, etc.) to deliver and execute on the product roadmap.
What We’re Seeking
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related disciplines, or relevant experience in software management, architecture, design, development, and testing.
Overall 12+ years of strong experience in managing geographically distributed, high performing development teams along with hands on development.
Hands on experience with Java, Angular, AWS, Kubernetes, git hub and Microservices.
Knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle, Agile Frameworks, coding standards, secure coding standards, code reviews, git, build processes, testing, and operations.
Outstanding people management skills with a flare to mentor direct reports.
Excellent oral and written communication and ability to articulate the design walkthrough with architects and discuss strategy/requirements with leadership.
Excellent Leadership skills, seeing the big picture of company/product strategy and navigating organizational challenges.
A collaborative attitude and ability to work across different departments and functions.
