Job Title: Reference Data Analyst

Location: Bangalore, India

Role Description

The Client Data Management (CDM) programme is delivering a broad and consistent, bank wide golden source of Party (Entity / Client) reference data that is externally verifiable and validated. This golden source is business and product agnostic and is to be used by and distributed to consuming systems (trading, reporting, credit, etc) across Deutsche Bank. Creating the golden source of Party reference data will help the bank to deliver increased compliance to regulatory requirements; improved standardisation, consistency and quality of core entity data and increased efficiency throughout the bank of our reference data processes. This includes remediation of entities that has been created as duplicates in reference data system and the process comprises of sourcing, validation, client perimeter analysis and outreach for approvals, static data changes via bulk load.

Within the CDM space, the BR team is responsible for ensuring that the data points associated with BR are maintained in a pristine manner; to ensure this, activies involving migrations of BRs, extensitons of systems and products and reactyivations of products / systems occupy key priority focus.

Your key responsibilities

  • Remediating entities identified as part of Data quality issues .
  • Ensuring the processing guidelines (KOP) are followed with diligence.
  • Monitoring the mailboxes in terms of processing and queries Participating in employee engagement activities & effective participation in team huddle and contribution in regular meetings.
  • Complete assingned activities within stipulated TAT & Mainting High Quality output.
  • Owning the issues, resolve it on priority and escalating wherever required as per escalation matrix.
  • Maintain Accurate & Timely MI Update
  • Closely work with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Reconciliation Team ) to drive timely closure of exception breaks
  • Identify possible automation opportunities and reduce manual intervention.
  • To work in the direction of finding process gaps and ideas to remediate the same.

Your skills and experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant field
  • 0.6 to 4 years of work experience in Investment Banking
  • Basic knowledge of Banking operations/Financial Products (Fixed income cash & derivatives)
  • Sound knowledge of Reference Data and exposure to data remediation program/projects
  • Microsoft Office/Suite proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Good communication skills. Interaction with the Middle Office and/or Clients to ensure the timely and accurate processing of all life cycle events.
