Our team – Vehicle Camera Services is a team responsible for developing a deeply integrated vehicle camera services for millions of GM production cars.
Our target is enabling users to use the vehicle cameras in many Innovative ways.
Our solution is a vehicle android based apps and services, aimed to be used in vehicle and remotely and it involves utilization the vehicle infrastructure services.
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the team and help developing new features and commercialize them.
What will you do?
Design, build, test and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Kotlin/Java code.
Integrate and work with other vehicle services.
Create and maintain clear and complete design level documentation.
Coordinate and participate in architecture, requirements, design, code and test case reviews.
Work closely with others to support triage and resolution of defects.
Develop and implement unit test cases and automated test scripts as appropriate to exercise functionality and ensure software requirements have been met.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)
BSc in computer science or a similar field.
Over 5 years of experience in software embedded development (on mobile / vehicle)
Experience in Android environments
Experience with video / cameras
What Can Give You A Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience working with Android Automotive
Experience with Kotlin
Experience with C++
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of tools such as Jira, Git.
